A couple of weeks ago my 1 year old daughter broke my headset. I had to wear it with tape and it would catch in my hair all the time, so I decided to get a new pair. After doing my research I settled with the SteelSeries Arctics 7 headset.

During this past retreat in Palm Springs, a group of us wondered about several questions regarding free software. A particularly enlightening moment was when Matthew Tift. shared that some of the members in the admin team were horrified to learn about the unethical practices that a certain software company was executing. The admin team is actively using software developed by this company because they didn’t know. Had they known, they might have gone with the ethical choice, even if that meant some hypothetical degradation of features.

This weekend marked week number two of house confinement in Mallorca. I wanted to come up with a way to explain our three year old what is going on, why he can’t go to schools and how much longer he will need to remain locked. Mercè, my wife, liked the idea so I thought to re-do it while recording so I can share it.
